Russia-Pakistan Intergovernmental Comission was chaired by Viktor Ivanov

On April 17, 2015 the government of the Russian Federation appointed Viktor Ivanov to a position of a Chairman of the Russian side of the Russia-Pakistan Intergovernmental Comission on trade, economic, scientific and technical cooperation (IGC).

Viktor Petrovich Ivanov is a Russian statesman, presently the Director of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia and the Chairman of the Russian State Anti-Drug Committee.

In November 2014 the 3d session of the Russia-Pakistan IGC took place in Moscow. The Russian side was headed by the Minister for Sports Vitaly Mutko. The next session will be held in Pakistan this year.
