Artem Korenevskii now heads the local branch of GS Group in Pakistan

In the scope of the satellite television project in Pakistan GS Group (under General Satellite trademark) opened its office in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The branch has been headed by Artem Korenevskii who has considerable experience in the media market of Pakistan. «Active work is being done on the development of Direct-to-Home project in the country, we are actively preparing technical and financial feasibility analysis of the project, working on getting a television broadcasting license, which will allow to start the project and to broadcast in Pakistan. Together with our local partners we established a joint venture company Parus Media and Broadcast (Pvt) Ltd, which under the brand OneTV Pakistan will render the DTH service in Pakistan.”

Simultaneously with DTH-project a possibility is examined to run sub-systems such as the early warning of the population in emergency situations, as well as an OTT (over the top)-platform.

GS Group currently has a portfolio of early stage and commercially launched foreign broadcasting projects. A long and successful story has a Cambodian project, being preparing to launch are such large and promising projects such as Pakistan and Bangladesh, there are serious developments in other regions of the world.
