Business Council for cooperation with Pakistan marked a two year anniversary.

June 15, 2011 a St.Petersburg branch of the Russian Business Council for cooperation with Pakistan has been founded. Over the past two years, branch office has established reliable trading and economic contacts with the designated government and commercial organizations of the two countries.
The delegation of the Business Council has twice participated in the Pakistan Expo exhibition in Karachi. At our support LLC “Trading House of Pakistan ” has opened. Cricket matches, organized in Saint-Petersburg by branch office Business Council, will soon become traditional.
Despite of it, the level of trading and economic relations between two countries does not match an available potential. The existing bilateral turn makes 540 million dollars. Insufficient knowledge of two countries about each other does not allow to open the new markets and to aquire new reliable long-term business partners.
Russian Business Council for cooperation with Pakistan will continue to work actively, in order to attract new companies to the markets of Russia and Pakistan, establishing joint ventures and promotion of bilateral cooperation projects.
Under the managerial authority of Chairman of RBCCP Mr. G. N. Seleznyov, the President of Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. S.N. Katyrin, the President of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. V.I.Katenev, the Chairman of Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technological cooperation Mr. V.L.Mutko, the Business Council possess all the necessary tools to advance the interests of Russian companies in Pakistan.

The branch of Russian Business Council is looking to cooperate with businesspeople of Saint-Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
