The Meeting with Kirsan Ilyumzhinov

The director of Saint Petersburg Branch of Russian Business Council for Cooperation with Pakistan of The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia Sergey Mikaelyan met with a Russian politician and businessman, the first president of the Republic of Kalmykia and the president of the World Chess Federation – Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.

During the meeting they discussed the issues of development of the bilateral trade and economic relations as well as the concrete investment projects at power industry, engineering and transport infrastructure and telecommunications industry in Pakistan involving leading Russian companies.

Another conversation subject was finding possibilities for promotion of Russian exporters’ products on the Pakistani market. Kirsan Ilyumzhinov told that the Government of Russian Federation has created all the possibilities and tools of necessity that can lend financial and nonfinancial support for Russian exporters. The politician also declared determination to be involved personally in the process of promotion of Russian companies’ products on the Pakistani market.
