Zahid Khan: Russian trade chains became interested in products from Pakistan

Zahid A. Khan, CEO of the Business Council for cooperation with Pakistan, held trade negotiations with Russian companies on food supplies from Pakistan. “Our meeting was a success, Mr. Khan noted, we negotiated meat and fish supplies. We still have a lot of things to discuss with Rosselkhoznadzor as to the terms of the supplies.” On August 7, 2014 Russia introduced a year-long restrictions on import from the countries that had imposed sanctions against Russia. Among those countries are USA, EU, Canada, Australia and Norway. Beef, pork, fruit, vegetables, poultry, cheese and dairy products, nuts etc were on the restriction list.
